FirstMate has been family owned since 1989. They started as a fish food company, which gives their formulas a unique taste that dogs love!
High Protein
FirstMate formulas derive 60-98% of their protein from animal sources. All of their protein meals contain muscle meat, skin, and bone and thats it! Having this quality of protein lends to these high protein percentages.
High Kcals
FirstMate has some of the highest Kcals per cup of any food we carry. A Kcal is simply a scienfitic term for what we know as standard calories. FirstMate formulas are between 475-550 Kcals per cup, which is some of the highest of any food we carry!
Made at Their Own Facility

Dry Kibble
FirstMate makes all of their food in their own facility. Using their unique nutrient infusing process, their food is palatable and nutritious.
Wet Food
FirstMate makes all of their cans in their own facility, with a unique texture that would most closely resemble a whipped pate. They use human grade ingredients that would be found in many local grocery stores.
